Nerve by Jeanne Ryan

I bought this book on a whim at target the other day because I know that it’s a movie, and the premise is interesting. Nerve is about a game played online, where players are dared to do dares in varying dangers. It focuses on one player, Vee, who doesn’t seem like the type to take dares.

Vee does really well in a couple dares, and eventually works her way up to the championships. She and her partner, Ian, end up in an incredibly dangerous situation, and they have to figure their way out of it.

This book is incredible. It is a nail biter, and kept me reading when I was tired, but I couldn’t put the book down. I loved reading this, and I actually think I’m going to have to watch the movie. It was fun and worrisome reading this; I honestly had no idea how the book was going to end, if any of the characters would make it alive, and that makes for a fantastic read.

I definitely think folks should read this book. It’s a thrilling read, and I had a blast the entire time. I’ll be renting the movie relatively soon, and I’ll let you guys know how it compares!
