My Mum, Sister and I are in the midst of renovating our home; so far my brick room has been plastered and painted in a white, with an aqua coloured wall. We have purchased dark grey curtains, and will be getting wooden floor boards.
Because we are so close to having our rooms completed, I went shopping with Mum and Kieran today to spoil myself and get some new room decor.
Below is a little gallery of what I envision for my room; and a further explanation of what I am looking to achieve. Once my room is complete, I will share images with you all!
Dreamcatchers: I have a big; tree of life dream catcher that I bought in Bali two years ago. The ring is a brown wood that suits my bedroom suite, with the rest being an off-white wool. I also have two smaller dream catchers, that match, to go either side of the tree of life.
Colour: My wall is aqua, so my colour scheme is aqua, dark and light grey with splashes of lemon (in summer) and burgundy (in winter).
Letters: I have white typo letters in “B” for Bicarra, “K” for Kieran, a red heart (that will be painted grey) and a chakra hand.
Bedding: I have bought the KOO Kidman bed spread in aqua, with European pillows and a light grey 1,000 thread sheet set. I will also decorate the bed with pillows with splashes of my colours, and have a grey throw at the end.
Vintage Record Player: Kieran bought me the cutest record player for our anniversary last year, so that will make a grand appearance in my new room.
Perfume: I LOVE perfume, so I will be making a display of them so I can keep my pretty Marc Jacobs bottles.
I guess what I am looking for in a vintage/minimalist/boho type of theme, stay tuned for the final product!
