Premiere: The Mons – “Alarm Clock”

Triple Eye Industries has announced that hardcore/punk band The Mons will be releasing their second full length Trust No One on October 20. Today, we have a premiere of track six titled “Alarm Clock” for you to dive into. Taking a stroll through this album is like rolling back the clock to teenage years when finding bands like Black Flag, Dead Kennedys and Circle Jerks meant a whole new and different level of extreme. Lo-fi punk rock at its best with lyrical diatribes against the status quo meets fist pumping jams is what you can expect from Trust No One and “Alarm Clock” is one of the best examples. Check it out for yourself after the jump.

As previously stated this track is an atom bomb of old school punk in the form that we haven’t heard in quite a while. Back in the day I spent so much time with bands that sounded like this and I’ve been searching for something similar ever since. This search has ceased now that The Mons are returning and with Trust No One just around the corner I’m excited to see how fans of classic punk react.
