They both had secrets that could drive people apart—or bring them together forever . . .

Keeping his inner demons at bay means Blake Malone has more than enough trouble on his plate. He doesn’t need any extra complications. But that’s exactly what he gets when, on his way to North Dakota, he leaves his truck unattended—and returns to find a beautiful woman sleeping in the front seat.

Opal Allen seems to have a knack for attracting trouble. Which is why she isn’t about to tell her new road trip companion the real reason she needs to hightail it out of town. But Blake has a way of seeing right through her, which is both terrifying and exhilarating. Now her biggest problem is figuring out how to resist their undeniable attraction. Because once this road trip is over, she plans on never seeing Blake again.

But the best adventures don’t go according to plan.

Lindy Zart delivers all the feels with Blake and Opal’s story in The Map to You. This unlikely duo will have you falling head over heels with their witty banter and electric chemistry. They broke my heart and made it soar, reminding me of the strength and beauty that can be born of a painful past. This book was an adventure from beginning to end and I enjoyed every moment of the sweet, sassy, and steamy ride. Blake and Opal are unlike any book couple I’ve met before and I adored every twist and turn of their journey.

“I’m starting over, reinventing myself. I don’t know how, but I am. I figure I’ll know who I want to be when I catch a glimpse of her.”

Blake was so different than the man I first met in Roomies. He definitely had his cocky, flirtatious moments, but Blake proved to be so much more than I ever could have expected. Lindy Zart expertly developed this character over the course of the story, utilizing his relationship with Opal to bring out a more serious and compassionate side to Blake that made my heart ache. There was also an unexpected depth and raw vulnerability to this hero that made him utterly swoon-worthy.

“She knows me – the real me. And she’s as easy to tether as the wind. The freest damn spirit I’ve ever encountered.”

Opal was equally intriguing, captivating me with her quirky personality and impulsive behavior from the very first page. As surprising as she was endearing, I really enjoyed getting to know this heroine. She was a puzzle, I definitely wanted to solve and I loved how she both frustrated and enthralled Blake. I would have liked to dive a little deeper with Opal, get a better idea of her past and where she came from in order to really connect with her, but overall, her insecurities and fears allowed me to relate to her and I had fun losing myself in such a unique and vibrant personality.

“Lust, anger, protectiveness, empathy, insanity – I can’t put a name to what I feel right now. I just know I feel more than I should for someone I just met and don’t trust.”

An emotional rollercoaster from start to finish, The Map to You kept me guessing. Lindy Zart’s writing was colorful and overflowing with genuine feeling. I love that this author isn’t afraid to tackle the tough stuff and I found myself desperately rooting for Blake and Opal to find their way through everything their lives had thrown at them, together. Roomies fans will be thrilled to see more of Kennedy and Graham in this book, too. Getting to touch base with this adorable couple was icing on the cake. Lindy Zart serves up another satisfying, memorable, and one-of-a-kind romance with The Map to You!
