When you have no one to trust… In order to stop the demons, pureblood vampire princess Morgan LaBeaux agrees to the treaty offered by werewolf alpha Jace Vaughn. She’ll mate with him, share her blood with him…and in return, the wolves will aid the vampires in this battle. The enemy of my enemy is my husband… But Morgan doesn’t realize just how dangerous the wolves can truly be. Jace has been waiting years to claim her. He’s set a trap for his princess, and now that he has her, Jace doesn’t plan to let her go. He’ll send the demons back to hell, and he’ll keep his vampiress – forever. Because the blood binds all. Rating: 5 Stars Genre: Paranormal Romance Review:

This is the first book in a set of 5 novellas about werewolves and vampire mates. Cynthia Eden wove a plot about a vampire mating with a werewolf so they could both benefit from the power boost.

The chemistry between Morgan and Jace was firework material and I liked how they fit each other well. Their interactions were delightful and the twist over how Jace had been waiting all this time to claim her—ooh, la, la, I need me a werewolf alpha like him. *fans self* The pack dynamics added a dose of humor that endeared me to the pack members.

The twist and climax were fantastic, making the plot an interesting read. And the action was fast-paced and entertaining. For a novella, it sure didn’t feel like a short read. It was well-written and I’d totally recommend this.
