Being cherished is how Tessa Wilder always imagined falling in love. But for years, she’s always gone for the wrong guys. Now that she’s fallen for one of the good ones, she fears rejection.
“I can’t,” she replied.
Justin Jameson quit looking for a woman after being used so many times for his brains. A bit of an introvert and completely oblivious to women’s advances, he can’t even see that his friend cherishes everything about him.
When Tessa needs a place to stay, Justin’s the first to offer her a room. Hearts are opened; feelings are ventured. They’ll finally know what it’s like to be cherished in the city until one moment threatens the relationship they’ve built.
“I can’t lose you.”
ReviewTessa Wilder had more trouble than many people can imagine. She only dreams to be cherished and receive love by someone special. Justin Jameson is a professor at college. He is known for his shyness and genius mind. When Tessa is looking for a place to stay, Justin offers her one, even though he doesn’t like sharing his place.
I really enjoyed reading this book. It is full of romance, friendship and sexy scenes. It is the whole package. Both of the main characters are great. Tessa is a very strong woman and even though life has treated her bad she doesn’t give up on love. I always say as the shy and bored friend but this book change the way I saw him. He is always reserved in many ways but has this sexy persona inside of him which makes you fall for him. I just loved every single one of the characters no matter if they are main or secondary. The friendship between the group reminds me of the series friends, which I also love.
Cherished By You is the fourth book in the Love in the City series. This book can be read as a standalone because all the book in the series are standalone. In my opinion the series is better if you read it in order because as the series continues the author gives us insight on the future life of the previous couples. Also as the series continues you just want to continue reading more and more.
The book is well written and I read it in one sitting which makes it an easy and very enjoyable read. You need to get this ASAP.
