Each Kindness presents a powerful story of the importance of kindness. A young girl named Maya starts at a new school and has to make new friends. She makes efforts to play with a classmate, Chloe, and her friends, but the group of girls turns her away and intentionally excludes her. Soon, Maya no longer comes to school. After a class lesson about how powerful small acts of kindness can be, Chloe regrets being unkind and thinks about how much of a difference she could have made if she had been kind to Maya. This story is a wonderful read because it demonstrates how actions can have consequences while teaching the valuable lesson of treating others with kindness.
