It was a good watch actually. This is a “nice person story”. Why?
Well all the characters, almost all, are very nice. Let me tell you why…
The main lead, Ren is very nice he decided to fulfill his promise to his girlfriend to stay by her side through whatever even if his health is getting compromised or even if he doesn’t love her anymore.
The girlfriend, Mayuka, is too nice as well. When she noticed that Ren is already in love with somebody else she let him go and follow his heart even though she wanted to grow old with him. Her words, not mine.
Ando, he’s in love with Ninako. He said he is willing to be used by her just to have her forget Ren. Then eventually he adviced Ninako to follow her heart and don’t think about others people too much.
Ninako, was so in love with Ren. So even though she knows he has a girlfriend she sucked it up, confessed and still asked Ren to treat her like a normal friend even after being rejected. She even took care of Ren when he was sick. When she found out that Ando and Ren were best of friends but had trouble because of a girl, being the nice person that she was, decided to ignore Ren even if he already confessed that he loves her too. But after speaking with Ando, being the nice person that she is -lol, she followed Ando’s advice and followed Ren to be with him.
See? This story has lot’s of nice characters. LOL.
Kidding aside, I actually liked the story.
