“Don’t be afraid to get hurt. It’s far better than never experiencing anything earth-shattering. Even temporary joy is better than nothing at all. You’re afraid of getting hurt like I’m afraid to die. That doesn’t mean I’m not going to live every day to its fullest.”

What got me into reading this book, even though im drowning in books reviews deadlines, is the SYNOPSIS, Holy hell i was so intregiued, i just had  to read the hell out of the book, youknow?

Here’s the Synopsis:

It started out like any other morning on the train.
Until I became mesmerized by the guy sitting across the aisle.
He was barking at someone on his phone like he ruled the world.
Who did the stuck-up suit think he was…God?
Actually, he looked like a God. That was about it.
When his stop came, he got up suddenly and left. So suddenly, he dropped his phone on the way out.
I might have picked it up.
I might have gone through all of his photos and called some of the numbers.
I might have held onto the mystery man’s phone for days―until I finally conjured up the courage to return it.
When I traipsed my ass across town to his fancy company, he refused to see me.
So, I left the phone on the empty desk outside the arrogant jerk’s office.
I might have also left behind a dirty picture on it first though.
I didn’t expect him to text back.
I didn’t expect our exchanges to be hot as hell.
I didn’t expect to fall for him―all before we even met.
The two of us couldn’t have been any more different.
Yet, you know what they say about opposites.
When we finally came face to face, we found out opposites sometimes do more than attract―we consumed each other.
Nothing could have prepared me for the ride he took me on. And I certainly wasn’t prepared for where I’d wind up when the ride was over.
All good things must come to an end, right?

HOLY CHEEZEBALLS, I laughed my ass of so many times reading this one!

the whole book is so fast paced, which is AMAZING!

The book is from Graham& Soraya POV, so it’s one chapter from her pov, and another from his. and Honestly, this is my favorite thing about Books, you get to be inside both their mind; The first half was all hilarious and funny, i absolutely loved it. and Don’t get me wrong i loved the second half just as well, i MAY HAVE SEEN THE PLOT TWIST COMING? i guess?

Literally that was the only down, i expected the twist, and dang i was right, i was really disappointing for a whole 10 seconds, then the authors( yeah there’s 2 of them) took that expected twist and turned into something AMAZEBALLS and beautiful.

I enjoyed reading thisso freakin much, i practically finished it in 12 hours, i couldn’t stop reading about Soraya and Graham AKA THE HOTEST BOOKBYFRIEND OUT THERE.

Graham( THE HERO) had the dirtiest sense of humor; he was so thoughtful, caring and badass-ish, with the perfect amount of asshol-ism, youknow? everything you can ever want in a book boyfriend lmao.

He was fucking hot when he was mad. Something told me he was always mad. He was like a lion—the type of species best admired from afar, whereby any actual contact could lead to irreparable harm.

I really loved the heroine name, SORAYA, it’s an Arabic name, and i’m Arabian so i related a litte? maybe? haha lol i probably don’t make a whole a lot of sense here.

She was sassy, and a smart-ass with her dyed hair, she dyed her hair with a color that matches her mood! see what i mean?

My life was far from Sex and the City. It was more like Sex and the Pity. Or Sex and the Shitty. I guess I wouldn’t mind playing Carrie to this guy’s Mr. Big for just one day, though. Or Mr. Big Prick in this case. Absofuckinglutely.

but the book is a must read for anyone who’s suffering from a reading slump, or just bored outta their mind from our daily routine shit.
