I did get to hit The Sipsey Wilderness this weekend.
We started at the Sipsey Trailhead (we were on a Harley so we paid the 3 bucks because they have people there to keep an eye on it) We took the 200 out a few hours and back. The rock had water run off from the recent rains so we had a bunch of mini waterfalls, flowers were starting to bloom and it was a gorgeous day.
I could tell I had been stagnating judging by the noodly condition of my legs when we got back. I may be crazy, but I like that feeling.
Then we hopped back on the bike, I plugged in my audiobook (I am hooked on the Sinner’s Gin series by Rhys Ford) and we booked down the road. It’s a great way to cool off after hours of exercise!
A good day.
