I got this book at my Scholastic Book Fair. It is a funny book. One funny part is the disgusting recipes for cave people food. The book is about Oona, a cave girl, and Bonk, her annoying little brother. Oona finds an egg and has to protect it until it hatches. This isn’t easy during cave people time. I don’t want to spoil what the egg hatches into but it is so cute!
I liked that it was funny. It was easy to read. It was interesting so I read it fast. The art is fun.
I recommend this to kids who liked the Croods or like silly stories. This would also be a great book candy option.
