Top 10 Worst Movies of 2017

It’s the time of year where I look back and ask myself, Why did I waste my time watching this movie? Luckily, I avoided movies that I knew for the beginning would be awful like The Emoji Movie and the newest Transformers movie. Haven’t seen either and don’t care too. Here we go, here are ten pretty terrible movies.

10. A Christmas Prince (Netflix)

Sure, this is so terrible it’s good but let’s be honest, it’s just terrible. (lol)

9. Opening Night

This movie tired way too hard to be funny and all the jokes fell way flat. I wanted to enjoyed this movie but instead I felt embarrassed for entire cast of this movie.

8. Kidnap

I rented this movie from the library and expected this to be bad.  So, I thought at least I will enjoyed the insanely stupid plot. Halle Berry definitely held my attention but not in a good way. This movie made absolutely no sense at moments and I couldn’t help myself but laugh, “That would never happen even in a typical fun action movie.” However, this movie could have potential in creating a drinking game.

7. Flatliners

Talk about a boring, want to be horror movie. There is absolutely nothing scary about this movie, why in the world was this remade?  Ellen Page, why did you do this movie?

6. Sleepless

I remember renting this from the library early in 2017. I don’t remember what this movie is about expect Jamie Fox’s son get’s kidnapped and he’s a cop who will do anything to get him back. This movie isn’t even worth watching free.

5. Fifty Shades Darker

Do I need to say more? Definitely did not pay to see Fifty Shades Darker but curious to hate watch and maybe laugh a few times. Wow, it’s just as bad as the first and I am still astounded at the amounts of money this book & movie series has made with ridiculously fan-fiction plot.

4. Kiss & Cry (Netflix)

Kiss & Cry is based off a true story, of Carley Allison, a promising 18 year old figure skater and singer who made medical history in her fight against a rare 1 in 3.5 billion type of sarcoma. This Netflix movie, is basically a lifetime movie. I felt the story had huge potential however cast was super green and the script very dull, cheesy, and predictable.

3. 3 Generations

The majority of the films on this list are extremely boring and 3 Generations failed on so many levels. This movie tried to be serious but I couldn’t take the film seriously.  Elle Fanning is an fantastic actress she was not the right person to portray the character, Ray. I did not care for any of these characters and thought the side plots and twists and turns were highly unnecessary.

2. Woodshock

Wow, I tried to give this movie a chance because I really like Kirsten Dunst as an actress but not even her was able to hold my attention during this film. I fast forward so many moments in the movie because I was beyond bored and didn’t get connected to any of the characters. There’s a really good reason why Rotten Tomatoes has this movie at a 28%. I’m not even going to waste your time on explaining this movie, because it’s not worth it.

1.You Get Me (Netflix)

I had to put You Get Me at #1 because I didn’t even finish this movie it was that terrible. Basic premise is the same plot to several other decent movies. Tyler’s (Taylor John Smith) on the rebound after his girlfriend breaks up with him and has a one night stand with crazy Holly (Bella Thorne) . Next day, Tyler’s girlfriend (Halston Sage) wants to get back together with him and Holly is actually a new student at their school. The cast in this movie is beyond flat, boring, and dull. The acting isn’t even so bad, it’s funny. It’s just dreadful and after forty minutes, I gave up. The writing is juvenile and beyond predictable and stupid.
