Happy 2018 everyone! I know I should have posted this before we said goodbye to 2017 but, I only just managed to find time to post the unboxing today. However, to ensure I keep to a schedule, I’ll post my unboxing post every last day of the month (unless unfortunate circumstances, i.e. late mail occurs).
On to the items from December’s OwlCrate!
Created exclusively by Juniper & Ivy Designs, this wooden book ornament is inspired by Nicola Yoon’s Everything Everything; which is evident in the carved quote ‘Love is Everything, Everything’. I haven’t gotten round to finding a use for it yet but I’m leaning towards displaying it on my bookshelf!
This exclusive handmade soy candle created by Novelly Yours is inspired by The Names They Gave Us by Emery Lord. As I have not read this book before, I didn’t know how the scent was related to the book. I didn’t particularly like this candle as the apple tone of the scent was quite strong and was rather off-putting.
As a fan of both The Serpent King and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, this double-sided bookmark created by Little Inklings Designs is a keeper! It features meaningful ‘Seize the Day’ quotes from both books which serves to inspire me when I’m feeling doubtful.
While I know this isn’t a part of the crate exclusives, there was an advertorial bookmark in the box for Kasie West’s Lucky in Love.
Designed exclusively by Ink & Wonder Designs, this magnet carries an advice from Percy Jackson’s mom. I liked the elaborate designs that gives a clue as to which book the quote came from. It is now sitting happily on my fridge with some other magnets I’ve gotten from OwlCrate!
