Unboxing: Ever After Box March 2017 Sexy Shifters subscription box

As you know, my guilty pleasure is romance novels. I use them as a palette cleanser between more intense stories. Sometimes you just need something light and fluffy. That’s where the Ever After Box comes in. For $29.99, they ship out a box full of multiple books, swag and bookish items that fit their theme. March’s theme was Sexy Shifters. I’m a sucker for paranormal romance, so I was all in. Here’s what I found inside.

If you look above, you’ll see that they ship in a white box with their logo and this month’s theme labeled on it with stickers. What you don’t see is that they tuck this box into a bubble mailer for extra padding on its trip.

Everything is tucked inside neatly and packed in shredded cardboard for safety. There’s a card on top that tells you what’s in the box. I’m always amazed how much stuff I get for their moderate price.

First up in the box were this month’s extra goodies. I received a set of full moon sticky notes, a pouch featuring the Beast from the classic Beauty and the Beast fairy tale, a necklace with the Disney versions of Belle & and the Beast, some yummy soap, a Nocturne Falls pin to match one of this month’s reads, plus two e-book cards and an autographed short story by Kathy Lyons called The Time.

This month’s e-books were Red Archer by H. L. Brooks and Moonstruck: Secrets by Silver James. It looks like they both feature werewolves and James’s code came on a doorknob hanger. I wish the picture on the Beast pouch was a little sharper. Some parts of it are hard to discern. The soap smells like vanilla, which is always a pleasant scent and the pin is really cute – especially since I ended up loving the book it was based on.

The two paperback novels were chosen at random from a possible 8 books. I received The Shifter Romances the Writer by Kristen Painter (you can find my review here) and By the Light of the Moon by Jodi Vaughn. Painter’s novel was light and humorous with a panther shifter. Vaughn’s looks a little darker, but I guess I won’t know for sure until I read it. It’s another werewolf story. Both came with a printed letter from the author.

I love the Ever After Box because it always has 3-4 books between paper and electronic offerings. Where else can you get that many for such a low price and still get goodies? They also have free shipping to the US which is great! Their theme changes every month, but you always get plenty of notice before renewal so you can skip any that don’t appeal to you.
