If you’ve noticed by the date of the last review, it’s been about a month since. I predicted that this would happen ever since I’ve made the site and the About page. So I think it’s about time…
I will be going on a hiatus for an indefinite amount of time.
My review schedule was based upon the amount of free time I had to spare on light novels.
By my second year in the university, priorities attending other duties there and real life events took precedence. My pace had already begun to slow down. Spending time reading a book and writing the review more or less took an entire work day and I can’t afford the time for the conditions to line up.
So I made a decision. This summer, if I wasn’t able to post as much light novel reviews frequently as I did back then starting out, I would go on a indefinite hiatus. Reasoning being if I wasn’t able to post reviews during the time when I would ideally have the most free time, how would I able to post any reviews during my last two years of university, when I don’t know even know what I want to pursue.
Maybe I’ll pick up my duties here again…but that’s even more uncertain.
I’m sorry for letting down all of the people who have been following my blog, anxious for the next reviews, but I figure I might give those people some closure instead of just disappearing off the earth (Hikaru style).
My Twitter will be active (just how active it is today), but it will be mainly focused on whatever I do personally. I will also keep the site up for anyone who wants to check it out but don’t expect many/any updates beside the next couple.
I want to give a shoutout to Cho and Melody at englishlightnovels.com, Justus R. Stone and Sean Gaffney for continuing to lead the scene on light novels. You guys have done amazing work and I wish you guys the best of luck in the future.
With my announcement of my indefinite hiatus, I figure it is also time for my last project I will do for this site. I’ve wanted to do this project and I’ve let it sit for a year now since I’ve last read it. It is another strong series that I’ve loved and I’m glad to read again.
This is my last project:
