review 1: This book was a lovely Stereotype-Breaker. Ashtyn was a wonderful girl with a heart of gold, but was also so very strong with her football team, presenting herself as a wonderful team leader. Lovely lovely lovely as always Simone. Derek's accent was portrayed wonderfully, and his inner fight, as well as Ashtyn's against the attraction that they know is present, is agonizing and suspenseful. When will the tension wire break?
review 2: Certainly not her best. It's been a while since I last read so many clichés. And I found the amount of telling instead of showing scandalous, just like other readers. But after a while it got better and some of the minor characters were superb. However, there were inconsistencies and unexplained details, too. So, I'm expecting a m... moreuch better sequel, because this does not live up to Perfect Chemistry, that's for sure. less
