I am on page 157/324, that’s almost half way through the book. Sadly, I will not continue reading this book and have decided to leave it for another time.
The story just didn’t hold my attention like other similar books have. I was looking for Xylara to put up more of a fight against Kier and not bow down to him like it was expected of her. The story was too slow paced for my liking. I don’t mind slow paced books IF they’re able to catch and hold my attention from the beginning or if they have a good mystery that I just have to uncover.
