review 1: Murder with Ganache by Lucy Burdette is a Key West Food Critic Mystery. I do really like the series with the protagonist being a food critic and living in Key West. The Key West setting is well done and quite interesting. Lots of drama occurring surrounding an on again- off again wedding, as well as the murder and thefts. I enjoy this series and will certain continue to read it. Any fans of series set in Florida will appreciate it.
review 2: Hayley Snow is a food critic but dabbles in investigating. She is helping her friend Connie prepare for her shower and wedding all in the same week. Hayley's parents and their respective partners as well as her step brother Rory, are all coming to town. As it happens her step brother is a teenager with issues. He le... moreaves the shower and goes missing. Hayley and Ray (connie's fiance) go searching and find him battered. A girl is found dead and Rory is prime suspect although hospitalized in a coma. Add to the mix, Connie's absentee father and Rory's father and it gets messy. In additon, Hayley's mom is looking for romance for her daughter. Also Hayley has Miss Gloria to look out for. I love this series as Hayley just ends up involved and like Stephanie Plum has family to deal with. Good recipes in this. Cant wait for the next installment. less
