review 1: Normally I don't buy books like this, just get them at the library. Despite my revulsion of the first book, I couldn't stop reading it & was dying to read the next book in the series. This book turned out to be a pretty big disappointment & I have no desire to continue reading the series. It is spent mostly in Vamp City with the goal to restore the magic. Of course the magic is still not restored & we have to go into the next book to see what happens. It was just a tiresome read because even though there was plenty of action it wasn't anything new. All the shock value was in the first book. There just wasn't anything left for the author to come up with after that. I'm sorry I wasted my money on 'A Kiss Of Blood'
review 2: Loved this book. Very suspensefu... morel will they get caught or won't they? Will she give in to her feelings or won't she? Will the city be saved? Some of these questions where answered in this book. Some well we have to wait for the next installment. I was only slightly disappointed in the ending. It just ended. Though that fact didn't take away from the book at all. Pamela is one of my favorite Fantasy/Paranormal authors. I love all of her books!! less
