What I did: Tuesday, July 18

I woke up today with the desire to skip the gym and hop into the pool, book in hand. I’m in between books right now btw because I finished Double Cup of Love and can’t decide if I want to read Kitchen Confidential or Girl in the Woods. I meant to bring Girl in the Woods with me to the pool, but ended up accidentally leaving it behind and reading Kitchen Confidential instead (bless the bf for bringing a couple of books down to the pool). Within an hour it became unbearably hot, and we headed back inside.

Later, I did adult things like change out the dead bulb in my car’s break light compartment and got a car inspection. I congratulated myself for doing such things by going to the nearby plant nursery to pick up some plants and ended up with two succulents. Let’s hope I keep these alive this time. Names still TBD.

I got back home and decided to make a quick watermelon agua fresca to cool down from the heat of the Texas sun. Watermelon, a squirt of honey, and some water. Blend it up, and that’s it. It was pretty good. Next time, I’m gonna add some lime juice though to brighten it up. I was so excited to drink it that I forgot to take a photo before stopping myself from gulping it down. Whoops.

I worked on my DIY project (more on that later but I’M ALMOST DONE! *cries*) and ended up craving Domino’s for dinner. Can I just say I love me some garlic sauce? Cause that’s all I was really craving. I would have posted a pic, but I don’t think I want to remember my medium sized pizza (that I almost finished in one sitting) any time soon.

So here we are — I mean me: sipping hot tea in hopes that it’ll drown all of the grossness and gluttony and garlic dip and memories that came with it cause I sure am going to regret it tomorrow.
