I have always been a fan of movies that were made under the normal Hollywood budgets and sent straight to DVD.
Many times, these movies were just as good as those playing in the box office. (In my opinion, sometimes better!) Movies don’t have to be “box office” good to be great films. If the movie has a strong story plot and somewhat okay acting, it’s good in my book.
I will be making posts of “Low Budget/Straight To DVD Film” recommendations which I will refer to as “What You Won’t See In The Box Office!” Sometimes, it’s fun to explore all types of movies (I love indie films & international movies).
Here’s two movies that are great films in my opinion:
Guilty By Association (2003)- I bought this movie years ago from Wal-Mart but you can find it online. This movie was about how sometimes when you associate yourself with the wrong people, deadly repercussions can follow and in return leave a dangerous impact on your life. Also, this film was shot in DC
