Who Are We?

For those who don’t know me already, I am OBSESSED with ancient astronaut theories and the show Ancient Aliens. I have books upon books and articles upon articles about who we are, where we came from and what our history is. There are literally thousands of theories when it comes to human history involving other-worldly beings and whether they intervened or not at some point. It’s one of few things I can go on and on and on about.

But yesterday I was reading Erich Von Daniken’s – Chariots of the Gods for the second time (I highly recommend it, it’s fabulous) and noticed I started getting frustrated with myself. I love theorizing, I love questioning everything, I love listening and learning to what others believe or think… but I started getting agitated with reading because I just wanted to know. For the first time I didn’t want to ask questions with knowing I wouldn’t get the answers, I just wanted the answers. Then I started to think, what would happen if we DID know all the answers? There were no more theories or questions, just history.

How crazy would it be if you woke up tomorrow and we knew everything about who we are? What if we learned that we’re spliced genetically with aliens and dinosaurs. Jesus was actually an alien species. Earth is hollow and there’s an underground world where our ancestors have been hiding for centuries. All of the gods and goddesses of every story, from every religion, in every part of the world, are actually other worldly visitors. What if?

Do you think the world would lose it? Would there be ultimate chaos and destruction not only of one another, but of the Earth itself? How many people would be excited and curious rather than horrified and repulsed? Would the governments be overthrown? Would everyone finally wake up? How would you react?

My reaction would obviously depend on what we would learn. Regardless, I believe that there is “alien” life. I believe that they have visited our planet. I believe that they are still out there, waiting. I’m not sure for what, but I hope I find out in my life time.
