Today I am writing about my favourite makeup brand and its fantastic, life-changing products.
To be honest, I don’t know how I stumbled upon the brand but I sure am lucky that I did. I started with a little set consisting of travel size products and ended up booking an appointment at a counter. Since then, my love for the products exponentially grew!
Keep reading to find out about my unbeatable arguments for buying BB products:
SKINCARE HEAVEN
There was a time when my skin drove me crazy. Overnight (more or less…) it changed and my old skincare products seemed to make it only worse. I took the only logical step and changed the products. I started to gradually establish a BB collection of divine skincare products. Having flawless skin is a process and I am, in my opinion, still far from it but every time a new problem comes up you will find me at a BB counter.
The use of natural ingredients and the resulting smell of their products is A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. You’ll find Enriched Mineral Water, Cucumber Extract, Hawaiian Sea Water, White Clay, Walnut Grain and White Birch, only to name a few. Once you figured out the right products for your skin you will see it getting better day by day! Using the range of products my skin is prepared for a no makeup day at university or a dramatic evening look.
Bobbi Brown products are pricey (#student) but worth every penny! I started out with one product and slowly increased my collection up to six. I wouldn’t want to miss them for the world. My wish list is extremely long and I can’t wait to add more magical helpers to my skincare routine.
MAKEUP PRODUCTS
I decided that I wanted to use foundation and concealers from BB as well since I thought that they would work the best with the skincare products. I can only say that after using a BB foundation, I used one from another huge brand and was disappointed. Now, I am happy to be back with three BB options to choose from in the morning plus banging concealers to hide my dark circles that come with the student life.
Products for brows, lips and eyes never disappointed me either. Once you figured out how to use the products according to your skin type you will look and feel great. It is makeup, have a bit of fun with it. I bought a concealer that dried out my skin but works perfectly for covering dark circles. A long-lasting lipstick made my lips feel and look terrible dry so I use it with lots of lip balm (not as long-lasting anymore) and as a blush. Once I stopped sticking to names and descriptions on how to use products I figured that everything can work for me.
PACKAGING
I think I mentioned it before but for all my new readers: I fall for nice packaging.
GO AND ORDER SOMETHING ONLINE! I can only speak for Germany, but I got a black cartoon filled with black tissue paper!!! Ordering online and waiting for a package was never so aesthetically pleasing!
When you open your package your goodies are in classy white or black cartoons. Inside you will find shiny or matte tubes, bottles and creme jars. They definitely know what they are doing!

THE PEOPLE THAT ARE BOBBI BROWN
Thank you to the lady that works at my local Bobbi Brown counter. You are a saint. Thank you for always being so helpful and nice. Whenever I am interested in a product she makes me sit down and shows me how to apply it. Sometimes we just chat about the products. When I see that she isn’t working I will leave the store and come back another time.
Thank you to the lovely makeup artist at the Covent Garden store! I had a question and she told me to sit down and relax. She took off my makeup and applied the products she thought were right for my skin. Damn, she was right! She never forced me to buy a product nor made me feel like I didn’t know what I was doing. You’ve been so nice to me and I am grateful!
(You might read this and think that this is normal. Here in Germany you literally have to pay for everything and no one takes so much time to help you. I don’t take this service for granted!)
At one point I discovered the BB Pro Artists on Instagram and became obsessed! Thank you, Hannah, Amy and Ashley for the amazing content you create and for always inspiring me.
