I thought I was satisfied with my learning painting…I worked on it for a couple of days and today I wanted to sketch in my subject, fill it in and move on to something else…wrong!
It did not look like my practice sketch and I had to paint over it. I must also pick up some chalk so it will come off…I was using a watercolor pencil and my sketch was all over the place…lol!
So later on today, I want to turn what it should have been into something else because I think I can salvage it.
Below is what I am still going to be working on
Needless to say when I look at what wanted my painting to look like…it doesn’t! I don’t want to beat myself up over it, I am going to make it the best that I can today, start another one asap.
Another thing I need to do is to keep my reference photo nearby not just looking at it for days and thinking I have it all ingrained in my memory banks! Lol…it is quite obvious I didn’t.
I love to paint, I enjoy the whole process and know I will get better and better with each painting.
