So I finished up the Name of the Wind eventually and I did really enjoy it but it’s a big big big book. I don’t think I fell in love with this the same way that other people did. If you’re a fantasy fan then yes, you have to pick this up, however, if you’re a bit unsure this is not the book for you.
I then FLEW through The Search for WondLa and I absolutely loved this. It was the perfect time for me to read this. It is a quite simple children’s adventure novel but it is so well done with the illustrations that make it such an enjoyable read. I loved the world, and the creatures, and the mystery, and just everything. The main group really complimented each other and I just didn’t want to put it down.
Currently Reading
So, I’m not going to lie, I’ve been really struggling with the big books. I enjoy them but I just don’t get any sense of accomplishment because it takes me so long to read them when I am normally able to read a book in 4-7 days. These just take so much longer. I’ve returned to comics and decided that I need to read other books at the same time and that isn’t failing my Big Book March. Outlander is great, I have seen the TV Show and it’s similar to the book so i am enjoying it.

I’m just so sick of telling myself that I’ll read it and then not. So I just have to pick this up because it sounds so interesting.
