On Christmas Eve, Humble Bundle gave to me….
A $19 valueFirst off, Merry Christmas eve! I hope you haven’t opened any presents yet- or Santa will come in your house tonight and- well, you’ll see. Let’s just say he going to leave more then presents, if you know what I mean.
Today’s offering is bit strange, and a bit cheap, for a couple of reasons.
First off is Sanctum 2, a hybrid tower defense first person shooter, that somehow actually runs decently on my computer (hooray!). It’s not to bad on what it sets out to do- being a hybrid TD FPS in all. However, there is something thats bothering a lot of people, including me. You see, the game was actually given out for free a few weeks ago, by Humble Bundle themselves to celebrate the Fall sale. I must of missed the memo though- which is weird, because they always email me when a free game becomes available. This calls in to question to the validity of this bundle, as if has a lot of games that were free as special promotions… I will wait until after this bundle is over to share what I think about all this….
Finally, we have Zero Reflex- a fun little bullet hell game where you try to avoid an every changing enemy eyeball thing. It’s a simple game, with a dark secret. Apparently, there was a 10 thousand dollar contest- I guess you played the game or got the high score or whatever, and you’d when $10 k in cold hard cash. Of course, just like the Advent Rising million dollar contest, the winner never received their cash prize. I’ll look more into this, as it actually sounds very interesting- but stupid!
A strange day indeed. I give it a 3 out of 5 because it’s Christmas eve!
I swear to god, if a Nintendo Switch isn’t under the tree, I committing omnicide. I mean it this time!
