review 1: I want to be completely fair to this book. There were times I wondered about glaringly obvious plot issues. Such as how Malik found Sarah at Nicholas' apartment? Things of this nature popped up every once in awhile. There were also many words reversed, dropped etc which made me wonder if I'd received an unedited copy but REGARDLESS of that I still thoroughly loved these characters. The journey to love wasn't instantaneous, as it sometimes can be in novels of this genre. There was chemistry, that slowly simmered until it sparked into hot, scorching flames. If we could have focused on Malik and Sarah, their attraction, their burgeoning love I would have gladly given the novel more stars. To make it clear I was enamoured with their meeting on the train and subsequent date. It... more was sweet, sexy and honest but the rest of the novel became mired down in distractions. At times I felt I was reading two different novels. The first an honest and realistic portrayal of a woman struggling to allow herself to love and finding that love in a stranger. The second was full of odd, unrealistic plot twists that I couldn't reconcile with the sweet/steamy love story I began reading.
review 2: I believe that Entwine was a very interesting story with great characters and concept. However the way in which the story progressed was disappointing and aggravating. The romance between the two characters was hot and intriguing. The climax of the story was unexpected but I'm still nor sure if I found that aspect building the story or wreaking it for me. I don't regret reading this book as it was still a good story. less
