review 1: I loved this book however i felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster. One minute I was happy, the next I was heartbroken, and the next I was slowly falling in love. However I wish this book had more action. I love to see how the different characters worked through their struggles. finally joslyn became powerful. Ilyan got his love. I do feel horrible for ryland, poor thing can never win. I can't wait for the last installment in the series
review 2: I was enthralled by the first two books, a little let down by the third, and feel like this one fails to deliver on a few levels:- As others have pointed out, the repetition is maddening. I don't think Ilyan and Joclyn have had a unique conversation since book two- The dialogue is too carefully planned, it fee
... morels contrived- When characters have conflicting natures, they veer wildly from a "good" personality to a "bad" one rather than more subtle shades of grey- I skimmed a lot, but even so the plot has gotten confusing, as, like the characters, the story can't seem to decide what it wants to be- The visions, rather than being subtle foreshadowings, are more like plot spoilers - I'm going to repeat the repetition point to really drive it home, much like the author. Will Joclyn and Ilyan quit singing to each other already??? It's not cute anymore, especially since it seems to be a nursery rhyme mixed with a love song, which is a little creepy. less

Nothing really happens in this book. Such a disappointment. Hopefully the next one will be better.

This book was ok but it seemed to take a long time to not get far. First 3 books were much better.
