review 1: I'm actually giving it a 2.5 stars. I loved the first two books but this sequel disappointed me.Willow was a little bratty in this sequel. Ok, a lot. I kept wanting to slap her because she kept insisting on doing things she’s not suppose to be doing, ignoring everyone’s feelings in the process and getting them in trouble because of it. And all the lying she does is just plain sickening. Honestly, I really didn’t like Willow in this sequel. I had difficulty reading this book because of her. Especially after she was proclaimed the new leader. How can you follow someone who disobeys orders and only cares about herself? Of course she always claims to do stuff out of love for her friends and family but she lies to them, uses her powers on them, treats them like shit, and ... moreshe doesn’t care about putting the rest of the people in danger while she’s rescuing “her loved ones”. But I did like Tony character. He actually had some growth and change happening to him and it was interesting to watch how he handles it.
review 2: This book was fast paced and exciting before I knew I finished it one day. It starts off with them battling the Reapers and saving people from the mountain. All the sudden people in black come and start shooting. Willow's parents and Tony were taken. A group go on a mission to find out info but Willow is determined to find the 3 that were taken. She finds Tony but not before they did something to him. The bad guys were using her parents as bait and someone sacrifices them self. Two new abilities emerge and a surprising twist happens. Willow must choose between two people and come into her own. I definitely recommend people to check out the series. less
