review 1: I enjoyed this book because first I am a girly girl who also enjoys putting on my cowgirl boots and dancing! I felt like I could immediately identify with the scenario, when I was 7! This book would be a good fit for my classroom library, but maybe not the best story to feed as a class read aloud, just because it is very female centered. This book provide a colorful array of illustrations as well as a rich depiction of a Cowboy's vocabulary creating a connection to the reader and the story. This book is also promoting imaginative play and inventive interactive ideas. I love the social developmental aspect of this book. It really teaches youngsters that just because someone may not share you same immediate passions that there could be way more to a person than meets the eye... more!Cute story and I look forward to reading Rebecca's other stories!
