review 1: I read a totally ridiculous novella over the summer and gave it something like 1 or 2 stars. Well, jokes on me, because it was written sort of as a joke for this book, which is about a girl who tries out for the movie version of the book! That made it way more fun, having read the Twilight-esque basis (supernatural love triangle, let's leave it at that) for the movie. Anyway, this book has its own love triangle, with the unknown girl who stars in the film, and who's into both of her sexy co-stars. Super fun.
review 2: I recieved an ARC from the publisher through the Goodreads contest.Let me start off by saying that this is something that I would have NEVER picked up on my own. I'm not a big contemporary person. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this book.F
... moreamous In Love is a good pick-me-up the read in between books with "heavier" subject matters. It's a fun, light read that only took me a few hours to finish. I really enjoyed how the book began, as it made me more eager to find out how it ends. The characters were decent, nothing groundbreaking or astounding. None of them were terribly annoying. They were pretty average teenagers. My biggest issue was that I can't say that I ever really developed any kind of attachment to Jordan's character, and I felt his storyline was a little rushed. All in all, I'll give it four stars. It was a cute, fun read that managed to intrigue me enough that I finished it. less

3.5 ... It took me back to the fun side of the whole Twilight juggernaut. Team Jordan, obviously.
