review 1: This starts off like a sweet romance with a hint of possible danger but soon it's smoking hot and Jake is all sexy and dominating and Sophie doesn't know what hit her. Jake doesn't care where he is, he takes her when he wants her and Sophie's like, oh yeah, wait a minute should maybe we go inside, naww it's okay. Jake seems to have a thing for tearing off her clothes in areas where they might be discovered. It gets a little wild and erotic whenever these two get together. Sophie couldn't say no to Jake and why would she, jeesh. Jake basically told her he was going to keep her once he caught her and he wasn't messing around. Now I want to read about Jake's brothers, can't wait.
review 2: I only started this book because I love Rebecca Zanetti. Her Dark Protect... moreors series and Sin Brothers series are some of my favorites. This one wasn't the best for me. I was a little bored with it but I think that mostly has to do with the fact that I am not a huge contemporary romance reader. It wasn't a bad book I just tend to prefer more "excitement" in the books I read. The characters were well developed and I loved Jake. He was tall dark and powerful just the way I like my heroes to be. Sophie got on my nerves a little but that is fairly normal for me. I tend to be extra hard on my heroines. Overall, this book was just ok for me. I may go on with the series because I love Rebecca's writing style and storytelling but at this point there are a lot of other books to read. :) less
