review 1: Enjoyed it, but I think the romance could've been more solid if the h/h didn't jump to bed so early. Likeable characters, some suspense blended in, which worked rather nicely. I wanted to both shake the h/h at one point during the last quarter of the book, because they could've just talked to each other, so when the apologies happened at the end it was a little anti-climactic. Quick and easy read.
review 2: All the Maverick books have me ready to move to Montana....but each one has something different that really got me hooked. I love Quinn---how the ladies in town fall all over themselves for him, and he's almost oblivious to it. I love Juliet...for one (and this is shallow) because she's not short. -----I don't understand why lots of ladies in romance have to... more be short---okay, I take that back I DO know----but tall girls deserve love too! [*there's a possibility I am taller than the average woman ;)] And two, I love her stubbornness and how Quinn just totally conquers without squashing. *sigh* Maybe I shall read this again... less
