review 1: 4.5 stars This is more how I picture Derek being - messed up. No way is some kid as in control (or cool, no matter how good looking) as MTV portrays him after having his statutory rapist kill his family. Also, I noticed a lot of other reviews noted poor writing, I am not sure if I downloaded an edited version of this, but it read smoothly - there were some errors, it is an amateur author, but they weren't distracting and overall it is pretty well written for not having a pro editor. More thoughts to come, but it is Christmas Eve , people!
review 2: Well that was kind of amazing and according to Julio, the author is a 19 year old Texas girl. There is a lot of sex in this story and usually it's a turn off, but wow, I'm impressed.It's not a story I love because... more it keeps them from becoming a couple. Personally I don't have an issue with Stiles as a 16.5 year old being with Derek, but I would think his father would not be cool with it.It was too short, so even if it wasn't my cup of tea, I still read it. I liked it enough to review it and I would like to have had it continue longer.There are some typos and grammar issues, some are egregious.I will read more of her work. less
