review 1: I would give it 4.5 stars. I wasn't too thrilled with the way the book started, but the story line actually turned out to be pretty amazing. SPOILER!!!! I didn't read the book description and so I was a little startled by gods appearance; but when it turned out that he was showing up as Jonathan and had the urge to go to the wedding chapel and laundry mat, I was touched. It was a beautiful story and great ending, but didn't scream "READ ME AGAIN."
review 2: Reading this novel made me wonder about all the blessings I ran away from. I can admit the whole "now you see me , now you don't" aspect threw me for a loop but I found it clever and refreshing. So many times in life we incorporate God into our plans, not realizing that it will never work that way. We have t... moreo stand aside, surrender control, and lean not onto our own understanding. Reading this book helped me stop and rethink the choices I made, either from fear of failure or fear of success, and I hope that it can be just as heartfelt and thought provoking for anyone else lucky enough to stumble upon it as I did. less
