review 1: This is an enjoyable spanking short. Molly and Josh are colleagues and friends who explore their mutual attraction while on a business trip. Whilst in the company of other colleagues talk at dinner strays into a discussion of "Fifty Shades of Grey" and, from observing Molly's reactions, Josh suspects she has submissive tendencies - in the direction of spanking in particular. Molly wants to be spanked but is a spanking virgin and Josh gently but firmly leads her in her first experience.The h and h are an appealing couple and Josh just melted me with his description of Molly as his "love slave" it sounded... well... just lovely. My only minor bout of disbelief was in Molly attaining her elusive "O" practically as soon as Josh lays his hands on her. We had been told that she ... morehad never achieved orgasm before so I would certainly have thought Josh would have needed to work just a touch harder. But I didn't begrudge her her moment as Josh was absolutely the right man to take her there. This is a warm-hearted tale and rather a good one if you happen to be new to spanking stories or want to try one. At the end of the story I had the whole-hearted feeling that the two experienced a wonderful start to their relationship.
review 2: Could have been a lot better. Sexy office romance is a classic set up (in my opinion) and the plot was promising but it just didn't happen. There was no spark, I didn't think the sex was particularly good or exciting to read and I didn't really feel a connection between the two protagonists. And as far as BDSM goes, in this book it was almost none existent (again, in my opinion). If every author who wrote a scene with some light spanking and an authoritative man in it categorized their book as BDSM then the half of erotic literature would be considered BDSM themed.So all in all, it doesn't hurt to read this book. It's a short read and some people might like it more than I did. less
