review 1: I abandoned this one. Novels are fine if the premise is at least plausible. In this case the main character is given the ability to travel back in time by a 'mysterious strange man' in order that he might solve his wife's murder. Really? If this were sci-fi or fantasy I could live with that premise, but it is set in modern America. This just can't happen. Dumb, poorly written, preposterous. Sorry I wasted a few hours on this before I finally came around.
review 2: Ever wish you could go back in time to change the outcome on something you've done or said? Nick gets that chance when his wife Julia is killed. He is given a watch and told he has 13 hours to create a different outcome thus saving his wife. Nick pops in and out of time. The players are the
... moresame but each time Nick has recreated the events leading to Julia's death something still isn't quite right. So, we are repeatedly taken back over and over again each time with new results. The concept was interesting. After a while I lost that initial interest and really wanted to get to the end to see if I would agree with the author's ending. I did. It did bring up one question though. Would I if I could rearrange fate. Most times I believe in Divine order with a purpose in all things perhaps yet to be revealed. less

Wow, time moving backwards. What would you do if you had the opportunity to see the future?
