review 1: 149 references. Tells the history of Amazon and Jeff Bezos briefly. Very outsider style, some quotes from Mr. Bezos, but otherwise book relies on the descriptions or quotes of colleagues (or competitors) . But as it is still interesting description of the company. At point started to read like a change log of the features of the web shop, but probably unavoidable. Cut short at a end and misses some recent development, but that might be corrected if there comes a new edition at some point. Kevyt, mutta viihdyttävä.
review 2: I liked that book. As an entrepreneur who is -as usual - facing a lot of problems with his business; this book gave me a good shot of inspiration, and make me feel like it's okay if I don't make profit as long as I'm building a solid relat... moreionship with my customers and get to know them more day after another. I catch some ideas while reading that book, and start implementing them in my start-up although it's not a technology based one. The book's rhythm is fast and interesting till you reach the last three chapters, then it turned to be quite boring. less
