review 1: When reading this book, I think that the author was trying to tell the reader you can do anything if you put your mind to it. Now I know that sounds really corny, but it's true! These people make things that sound and look impossible real! For example, The 100 ft tower in LEGOLAND™ took 4 days with millions of people helping. That tower stands tall and strong to this day because of teamwork. Teamwork can always make something better by sharing or mixing ideas together. I think the problem the author was trying to tell was that people don’t try to make something or do something great because “its too boring” or “its too hard”. Try to do something that you’re proud of.Robert Ripley, The man who created Ripley's believe it or not museums, was a great explorer an... mored a recorder of human life. Although, Ripley died in 1949. But he displays his collections in 30 of his museums throughout the world. I've been to the one in NYC. The writing style the author used was mostly pictures then a caption of info for each picture. Compared to the other non-fiction books I've read this is my favorite book because I like how there are lots of pictures. This is good for me because I am a visual learner and I like to see all the cool things people have done. I think this book was a fun and easy book to read. I think this because there isn't a ton of writing but there is a lot of pictures so I would recommend it to a visual reader. I would also recommend it to kids age 8 and up because some of the pictures are a little graphic and the words could be complicated. But if you are age 8+ this book would be good for you.
review 2: This book is a fantastic!Believe it or not some of these facts are true because millions of people does a whole bunch of crazy things today and they don't care about. This book has people looking crazy, doing crazy things, and making crazy and awesome things. Also this teaches me not to do crazy things in because people are crazy all over the nation or world. What a person can learn from this book is never do stupid things in life all ways do the right thing in life.I would recommend this book to all 8th graders because they do a lot of crazy things. less
