review 1: I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.I couldn't put this book down. The characters were relatable - so much that you felt like part of their inner circle. The storyline was well developed. Even though you knew where the story was going to end up, there were a lot of surprises thrown into the mix. I enjoyed the style of writing, it was just honest story telling. Not a lot of unnecessary details, just romance.
review 2: I received this book for free from LibraryThing and was instantly in love with the plot of a rich city girl and a business savvy cowboy thrown together after the death of an important figure in both these characters lives. The author commented that she "writes contemporary romances and her stories vary in heat from sweet to si
... morezzling. I would call this somewhere in between. There was a sweetness to it and scenes that sizzled but overall the book was in between. These characters definitely could heat things up and I would have loved to read more of that. However that didn't stop me from enjoying this book and wanting to pass it along to my girl friends. The ending was predictable, once these two characters got it together but I sure enjoyed the ride. I agree with some other reviews that the author needed to check for common spelling errors as there were a few lines that required a re-read to figure out what was wrong with the sentence and yes please do something about the dogs names! Either explain why they were chosen or change them because I didn't get it. I also want to know more about Teddy.Definitely will be looking for more books by this author. less
