review 1: I picked this up simply because it seemed interesting. I never imagined that I would be drawn into the story the way I was. Hickman is a great character, as are Kate and Jessie. Darker Things really has it all - a shady government agency, a man with a past that he can't remember, an angsty teenager and plenty of things that go bump in the night. I can't wait to see what Mr Cornell has in store for us in the next book.
review 2: Like one of the reviewers below, I also read this book because the author followed me on Twitter and I have to say I thought this book was awesome! I was gripped from the first few pages and the action didn't let up. I have downloaded the second in the series as I am intrigued as to how Mr Lockman and his daughter develop... If you like ... morevamps, wolves, ghoulies, baddies and kickass characters, then you'll enjoy this. less
