review 1: Her bio says she wants to make her readers cry a bit and laugh as well, and she definitely achieved it. I really related to Ashton because of her low self-esteem. I'm sure I'm not alone in never quite feeling good enough and hungrily seeking praise for my work. And the food...! I'm hoping to find some of those recipes, especially the capers. Yum! Ty was the perfect hero for Ashton and their love scenes were exactly what the title suggests: spicy!
review 2: I watched a few reality shows in my spare time and this gives me a dose of that in a book. Ashton is partners in a restaurant in Chicago which isn't doing much business. A video recording of Ashton getting upset with a customer gets leaked to producers of a reality TV chef show. Ashton's fiery attitude gets h... moreer booked and she agrees to do it for the money and attention it will bring her failing restaurant. Ty Cates is the host and one of the three judges of the TV show. Ty has an immediate attraction to Ashton but flirting with a contestant is off limits. Will heat continue in and out of the kitchen for Ty and Ashton? If you love reality kitchen shows this is right up your alley. I loved their relationship and chemistry.
