review 1: This is a wonderful little book that teaches and reminds us of the importance of prayer! There is no relationship more important than our relationship with our Heavenly Father. Do we treat it that way? There are some conversations that we prepare for carefully. How about our conversations with Him? We are commanded to pray not because He doesn't already know what we need, but because we need to remember who we rely on for everything! Prayer helps us change our hearts. It increases our faith and humility and puts things in the proper perspective. God will bless us. We must give Him our will and let Him sanctify and lead us and teach us. As we look at prayer as a two-way conversation and let the Holy Ghost teach us what to pray we will allow our Heavenly Father to ... morelead us. There's an urgency in the world today for righteous prayers and actions. I want to be close enough to Him that He can guide me in the things He would have me do. I'm grateful for prayer and want to focus on improving this most important relationship in my life.
review 2: I really enjoyed this book. Each chapter presented a new way of thinking about how I can commune with my Father in Heaven more effectively. It gave me cause for reflection concerning my relationship with my Father in Heaven and my Savior. Each chapter is rich with material that, when pondered and applied, can really change the nature of our prayers and discipleship. It is not a difficult read, and I recommend it to anyone who needs a fresh reminder or new way of thinking about how they commune with Deity. less
