review 1: This book is the sequel to The Escape in the Henderson's Boys series and. The Escape was a very good book and Eagle Day follows in it's footsteps. Again, it follows more than one character and even adds some more after The Escape. Being the second book in the series, it's one that many would not remember. When you think of the Henderson's Boys series, you will often think of The Escape and maybe the last book you read. Eagle day is a book that does not stand out among the series, but is just as good as the others. It leads into the next book, Secret Army, very well. It's definitely not one of my favorite books, but I would be happy to read it again.
review 2: This is the second book of the Henderson Boys, the book starts off with Charles Henderson (a British Sp
... morey)being reunited with 4 kids: Marc, Rosie, Paul and PT. This happens in 1940 and after the sinking of the SS Cardiff Bay they find themselves living on a run down farm near Calais. Soon after, Marc/Paul gets stitched up (can't remember who) and the whole group learns more about PT and his criminal life. Charles then sets out to retrieve the needed info about the German base in Norway so he uses the kids who willingly help. Eventually he gets all the info he needs and sends it to Britan.I picked this book up because I was picking though random books last year (Gr7) and only had time to read some of it, but I liked it so I tried to find this book again this year. I managed too and finished it because I liked the descriptive writing during the stressful situations, because it managed to make me imagine what was happening.I would recommend this book to Kevish, because he likes this series, but he probably read this book already. He could re-read this book though. less
