review 1: Yet another short one.For this story, I had no problem with the gore. It was the formula of the characters that got to me. FBI agent that sees all, like Sherlock Holmes, and has a rough past that comes up in the book. Local cops that mainly bumble around. The hurricane was pointless. No point but to add extra drama to the story. I didn't really like it all that much since there literally was no point to it.The ending. Didn't see it coming, but it was an okay ending. I could see the hints of it after the fact of it. Still, it was pretty cliched since I've seen it done so many times before in mystery books.Overall, it was decent. Kept my attention the whole time, but still not the greatest thing I had ever read. Just an average mystery.
review 2: Robert Pobi's "Bl
... moreoodman" was one of the most unsettling and riveting horror books I've ever read. From murder scenes to flashbacks to dysfunctioanl family dynamics, toss in a hurricane, and you will find yourself on a wild, wild ride! I could not put this book down and read it late into the night which was a little unsettling unto itself! Pobi's Bloodman has been released in the US as "Eye of the Storm" and I highly recommend it especially if you are a Stephen King fan. Pobi has also written Mannheim Rex as well as River of the Dead (which was just released in the US as American Woman), all very different reads from one another, but all well written and rivetting roller coaster rides!!!Robert Pobi is new to the book scene and I can hardly wait to read more from him. :) less

从一开始就能猜到凶手、结尾还有疑问、大部分情节都是桥段。

The book is well written, but not for me. I struggled with the violence.
