review 1: I read a LOT of medical books - some filled with case histories, some filled with statistics, others filled with both. This book...I don't really know what to say. It was a 'both', but it wasn't engaging at all. It felt like the author's main point - 'if drugs are so great, why is mental illness on the rise?' - was made in the first chapter, and the rest of the book was just a rehash and angry filler.Couldn't finish.
