review 1: What i liked about this book was that the main character, Ruby Day, had everything a little girl could want. And then with only 3 words(you are fired) then Ruby's whole life changed. All of a sudden Ruby started connecting with her sister, and started to act like a normal 7 year old child, which means that she started to do the dishes, do homework, and go to the mall to buy new clothes. This book shows the change that happened to Ruby after getting fired, and how much 1 person can change by only hearing 3 words.
review 2: I guess I like this book mostly because it's for my age group, but I really like this book because it is about a girl my age- a minor superstar. When she finds herself fired and stuck in middle school, she has many choices to make.
