review 1: This was a fun romance for readers who love a little adventure with their romance. With a touch of Indiana Jones and The Mummy, this novel features adventure, fun, and danger. I look forward to reading others in this series! It is also a RT Reviewer’s Choice Award WINNER for Best Historical Romantic Adventure--a category I will have to keep an eye on if this book is an example of what to expect. Overall, a fun and entertaining read. Can't wait to try others in this series.
review 2: "Completely Seduced!"I really enjoyed the book. It was a fast read and I was surprised the "paranormal" elements did not bother me as much as I have anticipated. The only problem I have with the book was--too much telling and not enough showing. The book was under 300 page... mores and I wished that the author would have given a few more good pages in detailing out the story a little more. I like it that the story jumped straight into the action and continue it throughout the entire book. But, I sometimes yearn for the speed to slow down with more details then explaining everything through conversation. But, nonetheless the book was enjoyable! Also, Esme character is definitely one of my favorites by far! less
