review 1: Emotionally gripping and haunting. A wicked kind of lovely! And absolutely amazing! I can't believe it took me so long to read this! I was completely blown away and enjoyed every minute of it. Conner is a boy who wants to be invisible, he wants to forget but the sadness clings to him. Jade is a girl who wants to remember. She's running from something but she doesn't know who or what she is. Conner draws her in like no other and they both begin a journey like none other to discover who they really are. Things aren't as they seem and soon there is no turning back for either of them and the choices they make could mean life or death.If you're looking for a YA paranormal novel filled with mystery, romance and drama then this is the book for you. I wasn't expecting how great th... moreis book would be when I picked it up and had a hard time putting it down. Be prepared to get sucked into the author's beautifully crafted world. Ashes and Ice offered a refreshing and original paranormal twist that made the story exciting and intriguing.I can't wait to read the next one and discover more of the character's journey.
review 2: Well firstly i would just like to say Thank you Rochelle for the freebie. I'm quite annoyed with myself for rushing through the start of this book...because i only seemed to confuse myself with the story at the start (I will defs read again though)..but as i progressed through the story i found i was becoming engrossed in the story and all of the twists within as the characters life story plays out. Definitely worth reading this book if you love paranormal YA....which I DO LOL! And i'am looking forward to the next installment. Awesome work Rochelle (if i could give a thumbs up, i would) keep up the great work. less
