review 1: The second of three books in the Storm Runners series, this book is as riveting as the first one. Chase, Nicole and Rashawn all make it to the Rossi farm only to have a leopard with a small monkey in its mouth run by them. They discover that most of the farm has been destroyed and they begin to hunt for Mama Rossi. A pregnant elephant named pet, ready to give birth any moment, big cats running loose, a generator that needs gas and the trying to keep the flood waters from penetrating their only secure building Chase, Nicole, Rashawn and Mama Rossi fight the hardships of after the hurricane as Chase's father and Tomas try to reach them, Nicole's Dad tries to get back to the house and Rashawn worries about her parents on the game preserve next door. The suspense is even great... moreer than in the first book of the series as along with what the hurricane throws at them, they have to deal with the big animals running loose. All this leads up to the next book.
